The best place to start. Once a month, one short email lists the new Canadian class action claims added to the tracker and the ones that opened for filing. Tick the second box to also be emailed the moment a settlement opens for claims. The alert covers settlements anyone might qualify for. Where every class member is already known and has been notified directly, the tracker lists the settlement but sends no alert.

Claims not yet open
Ask to be emailed the moment that claim's process opens. One email, then nothing more.
Claims open
Ask for reminders before the filing deadline: one 30 days before and one 7 days before.
Cases that have not settled yet
The Class Action Watchlist follows cases before there is anything to claim. On a case's page you can ask to be emailed when something big happens: the case is certified, a settlement is reached, or the case ends. If it settles and claims open, you hear about that too.
Notifications on your phone
After you sign up above, you can also turn on a notification on this device for when claims open. On an iPhone, add Claim.ca to the home screen first. You can turn it off at any time from the saved claims page.
Report a problem or lead a case
Something that may have affected many people can be reported through its own form. Separately, you can ask to be emailed if a class action comes up that you might be a fit to lead as a representative plaintiff. Neither is an alert signup.

Changing your mind
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and a link to a page where you can see everything you signed up for and turn off just one thing. You can also ask for that page to be emailed to you.
